The Napa Valley Museum is dedicated to promoting the cultural and environmental heritage of the Napa Valley with rotating exhibits ranging from fine arts to history to natural sciences. The 45,000-sq-ft museum consists of two gallery spaces, offices, and a museum store.

Early collaboration with the architects produced a building that blends utility and a muscular vernacular aesthetic in its exposed structural language. The two-story building includes a partially below-grade first story composed of concrete and masonry walls with a post-tensioned concrete slab at the second floor. The second story is built primarily of wood with steel elements.
